Digital Airplane Template by Mega-Doodle Inspired

I created this using the Mega-Airplane Template from Mega-Doodle Inspired (one of my fave sites for cool digital stuff). I used Club Scrap digital papers (Matrix kit) and clipped the papers to the layers - totally easy and quick. I then simply ran the render filter on blue paper for the cloud effect behind the airplane.

It can be used for banners, blinkies, and websites. CU, PU, and S4H all OK. Gotta love THAT.

How cute would this be in a blinkie with a banner streaming out behind it?

The template can be found in the Mega-Doodle Inspired store, here. It's on special for February, only $2.56 (regularly $4.00). The template includes a layered .PSD file plus 21 .PNG files, 1 for each airplane part. EASY to use; simply use color overlays or clip digital papers to each layer.

I'm really loving templates lately. Am going to try my hand at designing some page layout templates which I will make available a bit later today!

Digital Elements for Sale - and a FREEBIE

As mentioned in this recent post, I have been working on creating my first set of digital elements for sale, and they're done! In that same post is a freebie - the airplane from this set - so if you haven't already and would like to download the freebie first, see if you like it before you purchase the set, click here.

Boy, was there a learning curve in figuring out how to "package" my elements, zip them up for quick download, upload to the file sharing site, 4shared.com, and finally, learn how to add a "Pay Now" button allowing someone (like you, hopefully!) to actually go through the purchase process.

Whew!

I THINK I have the Buy Now button set up correctly. If you have ANY trouble using it please shoot me off an email at deborah@webajeb.com so that I can find the problem and fix it, as well as give you an alternate way to pay and then receive your download link (so you don't have to wait while the hair-tearing-fixing is going on).

Isn't technology wonderful???

UPDATE: 01/07/09 - The Buy Now button is working - yay! When you click on it you will be presented with a Paypal screen. At this point you can either login to Paypal (if you have an account) OR you can pay with a credit card without a Paypal account. Read the screen carefully and then make your choice as to how you want to proceed. Once your payment has been accepted you will be taken to the download screen. A Digital Freebie from Webajeb

I've finally had a little time to play around with new techniques and create some fun, new stuff to use on my digital scrapbook layouts. Some time back, via Scott Kelby's book "Photoshop 7 Down & Dirty Tricks," I learned how to turn solid black shapes, like an airplane, into cool metallic digital elements. For the past couple of days I've been having a great time applying the technique to a fun variety of shapes.

One of my plans for 2009 has been to package up some of my own custom-designed papers, elements, alphas, etc., and offer them for sale or as freebies to the digital scrapbook community. My first set of elements offered is going to be a set of metallic shapes. I hope to get the set completed and available for sale in the next few days.
