I'm having a great time doing layouts for little girls! One of my latest clients has two little girls and they are absolutely adorable! I only had boys so I have done tons of boy layouts, and then last spring I custom-designed a yearbook for a boys' school so that was 190+ pages of boys, boys, boys!So you can imagine how much fun it is to use purple, pink, hearts, frills, lace, and all that cute stuff!
I love simple layouts that totally highlight the photos. For the first layout above I made simple vellum hearts, added brads, and then had some fun with fonts for the title. For this second one I used paper, beads and ribbon by Claudi Designs, and a PhotoShop brush for the swirl.
